Coming to the end of 2020, PRAISE-HK team and the ambassadors made it to join GreenFest by Hysan, an annual event to encourage younger generations to action towards a more sustainable future!
On 29 November 2020, along with Mr. Cesar Harada from HKU, Ms. Ada Yip from Urban Spring, and Natalie Lung from Brinc, our team leader Dr. Michelle Wong joined a panel on “Paving the Way to A Circular Economy through Innovation & Tech”, to echo with GreenFest 2020 theme – “Close the Loop”, finding innovative and creative solutions for individuals and industries to pave the way towards a circular economy. PRAISE-HK project was discussed as a showcase that leverage new technological integration for the public to make informed decisions and stay healthy. It was great to be part of an online green event that drew nearly 400 youngsters to get noticed on today’s environmental challenges and opportunities.
Later the day, our PRAISE-HK student ambassadors conducted an online workshop, namely “Visualise the invisible air pollution”, to introduce PRAISE-HK APP to online audiences. Thanks to our ambassadors, we were very excited to see how audiences are curious about our project and are responsive during game time!
